We Moved to… Morocco

Why did you move?
We moved from Devon to Tamrhakht, a beach resort about 20 miles from Agadir, in 2004. Denny already owned a business that ran surfing trips from the UK to Morocco so it made sense for us to be there instead. Now Denny stays out on the beach and I look after the guests.

How do your homes differ?
Back in Kingsbridge in Devon, we have a quaint 200-year-old two-bedroom cottage that we rent out. Here, we rent a seven-bedroom townhouse with four storeys for about £650 a month. We live at the bottom and rent out the other rooms. It's beautiful and typically North African with its colours and fittings. It has a great roof terrace with stunning panoramic views.
