We Moved to… Alabama

Why did you move to Alabama?
We moved nearly 12 years ago, when Kurt was offered a job in the USA with an engineering company in Huntsville, Alabama, known as 'Rocket City'.

It was a great opportunity, so after taking a trip to visit Alabama we applied for green cards (permanent residency). It took 18 months before we got the all clear to move. At the end of the day, if things didn't work out, we knew we could just come back.

How did you find work?
In the UK I worked as a legal assistant at a law firm and luckily, once we'd moved, I found it quite easy to find a similar position over here.
