Club Dance Holidays offers a huge range of styles, with many of its holidays timed to coincide with local festivals and fiestas. The company arranges flights, accommodation (b&b or half board) and dance classes, usually held in the morning. This means you can go sightseeing, swimming, shopping or take a siesta in the afternoon. Then the evenings are free for going out – dancing, of course.

About 70 per cent of clients travel alone, or with a partner who doesn't dance, so there are plenty of people to dance with. And with styles such as flamenco and line dancing, you don't require a partner.

Scottish Country Dancing For the whirl and skirl of Scottish country dancing, the holiday company, Furlongs, organises several Scottish dancing holidays a year. These are lively events, whether you're on our own or a member of a dance club.

The programme for 2007 includes dancing at the Roxburghe Hotel, Edinburgh, from 6 to 12 January, from £395 per person half-board; York, Easter weekend from 6 to 9 April, from £275 per person; Crieff, in Scotland, from 15 to 22 June, for two nights or more, from £165 per person.
