CRUISE NEWS

More and more cruise lines now sail from UK ports, and there really couldn't be a more relaxing start to a holiday. You just turn up, park your car (or in some ports, have it parked for you), then stroll on board and start your holiday, while someone else takes care of your luggage.
You can see lots of different places on one trip, without having to pack or unpack more than once — and no need to worry about excess baggage, either.
'I've always wanted to travel, but I'm terrified of flying, so last year we booked a cruise to the Med. It was fantastic to see places I'd always dreamed of, without having weeks of worry beforehand. Now I'm saving up for a world cruise.'

The 103-night 2007 World Voyage on P&O's Oriana, for example, takes you to 34 ports in 24 countries, including Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Bora Bora, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, San Francisco, Acapulco and Barbados. World cruises sell out quickly, though, so book early.
